- During the summer of 2025, I joined the 11 Second Club
and entered their monthly character animation competition for September.
The September 2025 character animation competition featured audio
from the 2012 film, "The Perks of Being a Wallflower,"
from which contestants would create an animation.
After listening to the aforementioned audio,
I got the idea to set the scene within a park, with a woman
pouring her heart out and sharing her deep, emotional thoughts...
only for a literal bear — initially trying to scare her —
to chime in out of the blue with his unsolicited opinion.

"What is the 11 Second Club ?"
The 11 Second Club is a monthly online character animation competition where animators from around the world create short performances based on the same 11-second audio clip. It's a platform for animators of all levels to practice acting, storytelling, and timing while receiving feedback from a global creative community.
